Woman who moved week ago to The Villages horrified to find her car stolen

A woman who recently moved into The Villages was horrified to discover that her car was stolen from her new home.

“I moved into The Villages one week ago and one week later my car has been stolen,” said Vickie Bowles, of the Village of Santiago.

Her gray 2012 Nissan Juke had been parked overnight Tuesday in the guest parking area just behind her privacy wall. The vehicle still has Kentucky license plates.

“This is the last place I would have considered to be a ‘field day of theft,’” she said.
