When I bought my home 14 years ago, I was 62, Mom was 81, and with our combined income, a 3-bedroom home was easily affordable. Now, at 76, and Mom passed away, keeping up with all the household expenses is very difficult. I don’t want to leave The Villages, so when I read about the Lofts, I was very excited. But, at this point, I don’t even know if I can afford an apartment there. It would be appreciated if the owner would release some rental-rate information, as well as when they will start accepting applications.
