A longtime member of the Architectural Review Committee has been elevated to a seat on the Community Development District 1 Board of Supervisors.
William Jenness has served on the ARC for a decade. He was selected Friday from a field of four candidates to fill a vacancy on the CDD 1 Board following the resignation earlier this year of board member Charles Amante.
Jenness is a resident of the Village of De La Vista.
The other applicants were Zane Akins, Stephen Gerwin and Thomas Papin.
CDD 1 Chair Kathy Porter said the field of applicants was “very strong.”
