A resident of The Quarters Apartments was arrested after an alleged attack on his wife.
Law enforcement officers were called Thursday to the apartment complex in Lady Lake where 31-year-old Zakary Joshua LaPerle was taken into custody on a charge of domestic battery.
The Alaska native was booked at the Lake County Jail and later released on his on recognizance.
