A license plate was seized from a vehicle being driven by a local restaurant employee.
Giovanni Rosario, 19, of Ocala, had been driving a gray 1995 Toyota Corolla at about 10:30 p.m. Monday on U.S. Hwy. 27/441 at Wales Plaza on the Historic Side of The Villages when he was pulled over, according to an arrest report from the Lady Lake Police Department. A seize tag order was in place because Rosario did not have a valid driver’s license.
The tag attached to Rosario’s vehicle was taken and his vehicle was towed from the scene by Kling Towing. Rosario was issued a criminal citation and ordered to appear Aug. 27 in Lake County Court.
Rosario works at Texas Roadhouse in Lady Lake, according to the arrest report.
