A woman was arrested after making threats to her estranged man friend at a town square in The Villages.

Tattiana Mae Underwood, 26, was arrested Sunday on a warrant charging her with aggravated assault. She had been arguing Aug. 9 at Spanish Springs Town Square with a man with whom she has three children, ages four, two and one. They had been arguing about “her role as a mother to their children,” according to the arrest warrant. Underwood attempted to spit in his face and told him she was going to have someone shoot him in the face.

Underwood followed him to their home at Oak Leaf Apartment Homes on County Road 466 in Lady Lake. She approached him as he was getting their one-year-old out of a carseat. She was armed with a “sharp shiny object” and threatened to stab him, the warrant said. He warned her he was prepared to defend himself.

“You might want to keep your doors locked cause I’m going to have someone come shoot you in the face,” she told him, according to the warrant.

Underwood fled before Lady Lake police arrived on the scene. An officer left multiple voice messages for her, which went unreturned.

After she was located and taken into custody on Sunday, she was booked at the Lake County Jail. She was released after posting $2,500 bond.
