Villages firefighters battle blaze at Lake Deaton RV Park

Crews from The Villages Public Safety Department battled a blaze Tuesday night at an RV park in Wildwood.

Multiple engines and rescue units responded to the blaze at Lake Deaton RV Park on County Road 143 and when they arrived, they found heavy smoke coming from a mobile home.

Firefighters searched the structure to make sure no one was inside and then located the owner at a different location. There were no injuries reported in the blaze.
