Five Guys restaurant closes its doors at Lady Lake location

Five Guys restaurant has closed its doors at Village Crossroads in Lady Lake.

A notice posted on the door of the restaurant on Tuesday informed customers the eatery was ending its operation at that location. It directed customers to a Five Guys location in Mount Dora.

The Five Guys restaurant at Brownwood Paddock Square had been closed Tuesday due a precautionary boil order notice. That restaurant re-opened its doors at noon Wednesday.

Five Guys is a fast-food chain with made-to-order burgers, fries and hot dogs, plus free peanuts while customers wait for their food.

Five Guys has 1,500 locations worldwide. The first Five Guys was launched in 1986 in the Washington, D.C. area.
