Trenetta Roshada Williams

A woman with a crack cocaine pipe was arrested after a K-9 alerted on her pickup truck at a local Wawa convenience store.

The Sumter County Sheriff’s Office dispatch center received an anonymous call at 7:20 a.m. Thursday about a silver pickup that had been traveling southbound on U.S. 301. The caller indicated the driver, 37-year-old Trenetta Roshada Williams of Oxford, was driving without a valid license and could be under the influence of narcotics. A deputy spotted the pickup parked at Wawa at U.S. 301 and County Road 466 in Oxford as Williams entered the vehicle. She admitted to the deputy she did not have a valid driver’s license.

A K-9 alerted on the vehicle, indicating the likely presence of narcotics. A search of the truck turned up a crack pipe which tested positive due to the residue of cocaine.

Williams was arrested on charges of driving without a valid license and possession of drug equipment. She was booked at the Sumter County Detention Center on $1,500 bond.
