Man already on probation arrested after admitting he snorted Percocet

James Wesley Taylor

A man who is already on probation was arrested after admitting he snorted Percocet.

James Wesley Taylor, 28, of Wildwood had been traveling in a silver car with a Minnesota license plate that was pulled over shortly before 9 p.m. Thursday at Galaxy Home Solutions on U.S. 301, according to an arrest report from the Wildwood Police Department.

The driver consented to a search of the automobile and a straw with white residue was found in Taylor’s wallet. He admitted he had used the straw earlier in the day to snort Percocet.

He was arrested on a charge of possession of drug equipment and because he is already on probation, he was booked without bond at the Sumter County Detention Center.
