Armando Breton Hernandez

A speeder with a Mexican passport was arrested for the second time this year on a driving violation.

Armando Breton Hernandez, 31, of Mount Dora, had been driving a gray 2005 Honda at 2:25 a.m. Thursday on State Road 44 when he was pulled over for violating the speed limit, according to an arrest report from the Wildwood Police Department.

Hernandez, who has been living and working in Florida for four years, handed the police officer a Mexican passport when he was asked for identification. It was determined that Hernandez was driving without a valid license and had been cited for the same violation on June 6, the arrest report said.

He was taken into custody and booked at the Sumter County Detention Center. He was released after posting $500 bond. He also was issued a written warning for speeding.
