Sumter sheriff’s detectives seeking help in locating stolen ATVs and chainsaw

The ATV pictured above is one of two that was stolen from the area of S U.S. 301 in Webster sometime between Sept. 22-25. The other one is camouflage-colored with a cargo rack on the back.

Sumter County sheriff’s detectives are asking for the public’s help in locating two missing all-terrain vehicles and a chainsaw.

The pink 4-wheeler, pictured at right, was stolen from the area of S U.S. 301 in Webster sometime between Sept. 22-25. A camouflage-colored ATV in the same make and model with a cargo rack on the back also was stolen at the same time, as was a 450 Rancher Husqvarna chainsaw.

Both 4-wheelers are made by TaoTao and powered with 110-CC engine engines. Anyone who has information on the stolen items is asked to contact Detective Donald Fender at (352) 793-2621 or Crimeline at 1-800-423-TIPS (8477).
