A Summerfield man was arrested with marijuana after a K-9 alerted on his truck during a traffic stop.
Jesse Lee Raffield, 25, was driving a tan GMC pickup at 10:45 a.m. Friday on State Road 44 when a Sumter County sheriff’s deputy noticed he wasn’t wearing a seatbelt.
A K-9 unit was summoned to the scene and the dog alerted on the truck, indicating the likely presence of drugs. A small plastic bag containing marijuana was found under the center of the dashboard. In addition, a partially burned marijuana blunt was found on Raffield.
He was arrested on a charge of possession of marijuana and booked at the Sumter County Detention Center. He was released after posting $1,000 bond.
