Emma “Claudeane” Abraham, 86, of Wildwood, passed away December 28, 2019 in the Villages, Florida. Claudean was born on March 18, 1933 in Gainesville, Georgia to Jasper Elmer and Emma Margaret (Tankersley) Gaddis. Claudean married Thomas Eugene Rider on July 17, 1949 and he passed away on February 12, 1991. Claudean then married William Abraham on May 14, 1993.

Claudean worked as a retail clerk in clothing stores for a big part of her working career. She was especially fond of working at Woolworths. Claudean was a volunteer for Leesburg Reginal Medical Center for 24 years. She was very close to the ladies she worked with at the hospital.

Claudean is survived by her husband Willie, daughters Elizabeth C. (Barry) Stephens of Braselton, GA., Patricia (William) Elrod of Jefferson GA., Gail (Elwin) Sheridan of Gainesville, GA., grandchildren; Chris, Craig, Stacy, Michelle, Michael, Matt Kenzie, twelve great-grandchildren; step-sons; William G. (Clair) Abraham of Sterling Heights, MI., Mark J. (Alice) Abraham of McComb Cove, MI., Kenneth R. Abraham of Royal Oak, MI., step-grandchildren Regina, James, Christopher, Scotty and nine step-great grandchildren.

There will be a funeral service at the First Baptist Church of Coleman on Monday, December 30, 2019 at 3PM. There will be a service at Memorial Park Funeral Home in Gainesville, GA. with burial at Oak Grove Baptist Church in Gainesville, GA.
