Kay Elizabeth (Thornton) Skinner, 82, of The Villages, FL, passed away January 8, 2020, at Ocala Regional Medical Center.
She was born on October 8, 1937, in New Castle, PA. Kay devoted her life to raising and caring for her family. Kay moved to The Villages from Rochester, PA, in 2000. She was a member of North Lake Presbyterian Church. Kay’s life in The Villages was full of activities that she loved with family and friends.
Kay is survived by her three daughters: Kimberly K. Rees, The Villages, FL; Pamela R. Pitrelli, The Villages, FL; Janice R. Hilgen, Flemington, NJ; brother George Thornton, The Villages, FL; four granddaughters and four great grandchildren.
Interment will be at a private ceremony at Florida National Cemetery alongside her husband, Thomas Skinner.
