Julio Brener

Julio Brener, 82, The Villages, Florida passed away on January 24, 2020 at The Villages Hospice House surrounded by his loving family.

Julio was born on December 17, 1937 in Manizales, Colombia to his parents Rajmiel Brener and Brona (Steinvortz) Brener. He was a Salesman for Dixie – Marathon in the Paper Products Industry. Julio and his loving wife Charlotte moved to The Villages from St. Pete Beach 15 years ago and had originally moved to Florida from Rochester, New York. He was a former Auxillary Police Officer for the City of Yorktown Heights, New York. He was a member of the Bay Port Yacht Club in Tampa, Florida and had served as the Treasurer. Julio was a member of Temple Shalom of The Villages, Florida. He loved boating, going bowling, billiards and also enjoyed going to breakfast with his friends.

He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years: Charlotte Brener of The Villages, FL; two sons: Jeffrey Brener and his wife Pamela of Tampa, FL and Jon Brener and his wife Tricia of Mt. Juliet, TN; three grandchildren: Danielle Brener, Zachary Brener and Ryan Brener and several loving nieces. Julio was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Samuel Brener and a sister, Dora Svartznaider.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, January 28, 2020 at 11:30AM at Temple Shalom of Central Florida, The Villages, Florida with burial to follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Leesburg, Florida. The family has requested donations be made to either The Villages Hospice House in care of Cornerstone Hospice at 2445 Lane Park Rd, Tavares, FL 32778 or Temple Shalom of Central Florida at 13563 County Road 101, Oxford, FL 34484 in Julio’s loving memory.
