To the Editor:
My wife and I have had several near hits by bike people riding far too fast and coming up behind us and not saying anything. It’s only a matter of time until some very serious accidents happen on the bike walking paths.
Riders need to slow down and say they are coming up behind you. A simple bell would work.
Also when bikers cross the street, most don’t even look for cars. The stop line for cars is past the bike/walk path.
