To the Editor:
Can it be true that Daniel Webster is now Democrat? Did a Republican actually vote for government giveaways? I thought Republicans believed in balanced budgets and rugged individualism. I thought government’s handouts were for the weak and lazy.
Where is the Tea Party with their beliefs in government living within its means? Oh, I see them, standing in line for their handout. To support their lifelong beliefs in smaller government and balanced budgets, I am sure that all Republicans will send their checks back to the U.S. Treasury to help pay the trillions of debt incurred by their president. Me? I am going to drink a toast to Daniel Webster and thank him for becoming a Democrat after all.
