The Board of Directors has announced the departure of Dr. Alan Holden as CEO of United Way of Lake & Sumter Counties.
“Dr. Holden has played a critical role in the last few years in the development of the organization and he will be missed. We want to thank him for his years of service which involved many accomplishments. We thank him for his dedication and commitment to helping our community and wish him the very best of success in his future endeavors,” the United Way said in its announcement.
The United Way, over the next few months, will be conducting a search for a new CEO.
“It is our priority to maintain a stable and impactful organization, while we conduct this CEO search. Should you have any questions during this transition process, please do not hesitate to reach out. On behalf of the Board of Directors of the United Way of Lake & Sumter Counties we are very hopeful and excited for the next chapter for this worthwhile organization,” the United Way said.
