Villagers for Veterans encouraging area residents to honor vets with special T-shirts

Villagers for Veterans has found a creative way to honor veterans this Memorial Day even though events are likely be canceled because of the Coronavirus pandemic.

Villagers for Veterans will receive a $3 donation for each T-shirt like the ones show above that are purchased by May 15. Those who buy them are being encouraged to walk during the Memorial Day Weekend while practicing social distancing in honor of fallen veterans.

The group is asking that everyone to remember the fallen during the Memorial Day Weekend on May 23-25 by walking in an area of their choice – at safe distances from others – while wearing one of two T-shirts that are available to honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice for the freedoms we enjoy.

The shirts, pictured above, can be purchased by May 15 by clicking HERE or by calling (407) 832-7414. Villagers for Veterans will receive a $3 donation from the sale of each T-shirt and will in turn donate to homeless veterans in memory of those who have died.
