A Villages couple is preparing to celebrate a huge milestone amid the COVID-19 pandemic – 70 years of marriage.
Sarah and Anthony Carrieri, of the Village of Mallory Square, will celebrate their special day on June 10. They were married in 1950.
Their family members say they are looking forward to celebrating with them once the COVID-19 restrictions are lifted.
“May God continue to bless you both! Love from your children, Phil and Sharon Greco (Village of Piedmont), Lois Chiarantona (Sebastian), Darlene and Frank Beck (Georgia) and all your grandchildren and great-grandchildren!! We will celebrate together soon!” they wrote.
