Shirley Lightfoot, 74, of Wildwood, passed away June 14, 2020 at her home. Shirley was born on April 29, 1946 in Leesburg, Fl to Wilson and Ruby (Fowler) Watters and lived in Sumter County all her life. 59 years ago, Shirley married the love of her life William Lightfoot in March of 1961.
Shirley worked at Continental Country Club as the housekeeper for the new homes as they came in. Shirley loved to grow flowers and garden, it was stated she had a green thumb. Shirley enjoyed fishing and riding motorcycles.
Shirley is survived by her husband, William; daughter, Debra and John Mayer, five Grandchildren: Nick and Nicole Cadle, Morgan and Joey Petty, Andrea and Josh Carmona, Regina and Scott Biddle, Justin and Diane Cadle and 10 great-grandchildren.
Shirley is preceded in death by her parents, brothers and sisters and daughter Patricia Toler.
