Norma Hamel McNeal, age 91, of Wildwood, passed away July 10, 2020 in Inverness, Florida.
Norma was born on February 21, 1929 in Pittsburg Pennsylvania to Arthur S. and Dorothy Hendrick (Hamel). Norma moved to Largo, Florida in 1956 and then moved to Wildwood, Florida in 1990. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, John W. McNeal and her son, Jonathan A. McNeal.
Norma was a Methodist and the pianist for the Linden Methodist Church. She volunteered for many years at “WeCare Nursing Center”. Norma was a United States Army Sgt. WAC Veteran during the Korean war 1952-1955. Norma was a secretary in Pinellas county for ten years and a homemaker.
Norma is survived by her Stepdaughter Mary Dwiggins of Charleston Illinois; Stepson J. Wayne McNeal; Brother Arthur L. Hamel and 8 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
