Nicholas Martucci

Nicholas Martucci

Death leaves a heartache no one can heal. Love leaves a memory no one can steal.

Nick Martucci, 79, resident of The Villages, passed away quietly on July 23rd under the care of the thoughtful staff of UF Health in Leesburg.

Nick is survived by his loving, dedicated wife of 58 years, Joan. He will be forever loved by his children – daughter Annette and her husband Jim, son Rich and his wife Debi. Nick was blessed with three grandchildren – Nicole, Maia and Anna, whom he loved dearly.

Born and raised in Chicago, Nick met the love of his life during his 32 year career at Western Electric. They married on June 9, 1962. Retiring to The Villages, he remained active in various organizations. He was a true charmer, who never met a person he couldn’t spend an hour conversing with…enjoying every minute.

Nick’s big heart, warm smile and generous personality will be sorely missed by his family, friends and all those that knew him.

If inclined, donations can be made in Nick’s memory to the St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
