To the Editor:

When we moved here in the year 2000 we were promised a country club and 18-hole golf course. Of course, for these we had to buy a membership which was fine that also gave you access to all club pools.
This was great. The community was friendly. A great place to live. Now it’s like living in the city. Traffic not only on Morse Boulevard. Also the other roads are too busy.
I see no reason to allow apartment rental, with or without privileges.
We were promised a country club lifestyle. They have broken so many promises to us north of 466.
It is sad.
Sumter Landing area will see the same as they continue going south.
Gone is the “friendliest hometown.” Look out, buyers!
