Jeffrey Alan Latzer

Jeffrey Alan Latzer

Jeffrey Alan Latzer, 74, of The Villages, FL signed his final scorecard and retired to the Great 19th Hole in the Sky on Monday, January 4, 2021 at Estelle’s Hospice House in Ocala. He was born on April 30, 1946 in St. Paul, Minnesota to Elaine and Sam Latzer.

Jeffrey worked for the Burlington Northern railroad as a computer programmer before retiring and refocusing his efforts on beating the pants off those who played golf with him. Jeff had a deep appreciation of Golden Oldies Jazz Music and looks forward to catching a live Ella Fitzgerald concert on the other side. His only regret was that the 32 years he was provided to dote on his amazing wife Connie, was far shorter than he would have liked. He was preceded in death by his parents Sam and Elaine Latzer and his two younger sisters, Maury and Susan Latzer.

Jeffrey is survived by the love of his life, his adoring wife Constance. Also mourning the loss are his brother and sister-in-law Kenneth and Jacquie Latzer. Jef’s elder son and daughter-in-law Brian and Anna Latzer and their four children Noah, Ethan, Jacob and Millie as well as his younger son and daughter-in-law Daniel and Catherine Latzer and their three children Yarrow, Cedarrose and Jayden will all miss him dearly. So too will his stepson and his wife Brian and Silvia Miller and their five children Kelly, Marcus, Melina, Kirsten and Steven as well as a great-grandchild Asher born to Kelly and his wife Tori. Jef also wishes his best friend Bob Emerson well, who he knows will be lost in this world without him (don’t worry Bob, I’m sure he already booked a tee time for when you join him on the other side)
