Paul Shepardson

Paul “Ben” Shepardson passed away unexpectedly in his home in The Villages, Florida on February 28, 2021. He was 68 years old.

Ben was born in Brockton, Massachusetts on April 23, 1952. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Mary (Nunes) Shepardson of Buzzards Bay, Massachusetts. After graduation from Oliver Ames High School (Easton, Massachusetts) in 1970, he moved to California where he held construction jobs which gave him a skill set that served him well throughout his life.He then moved to Stow, Ohio working for Klaben Ford where he was awarded “Salesman of the Year” multiple times in the 1990’s. He lived in Florida and Cape Cod until he relocated to The Villages in the Fall of 2017. On most days, Ben could be found tending to the many plants he had around his home. He was generous with his time and often helped his neighbors with their projects. He enjoyed restoring antiques, ocean activities including boating, fishing, and adding to his extensive shell collection. He followed all the Boston sports teams (Red Sox, Patriots, Celtics and Bruins) and the Ohio State Buckeyes – a true fan.

He is survived by his former wife, Michelle Shepardson of Delray Beach, Florida and his stepdaughter, Erica Young, his brother, John Shepardson of Bourne, Massachusetts, sisters Joan Bucklin, of Eagle Point, Oregon, Mary Lou Burlingame of Lincoln, New Hampshire, and Ann Morin of The Villages, Florida, his uncle Joseph Nunes of Harwichport, Cape Cod and nine nieces and nephews, and eight cousins along with a large extended family and many friends. All will miss his smile and wit.

“Yeah, Yeah, Yeah!”

A celebration of his life with friends and family will be held at a later date.
