Don Edward Waldron was a caring husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He left this world on April 2, 2021, at age 82.
Don was born to Vernon and Elizabeth Waldron on September 23, 1938. He grew up in Quincy, MA, and graduated from Quincy Vocational High School. After high school, Don served in the Marine Corps Reserve at South Weymouth Naval Reserve. He was also a career sheet metal draftsman and member of Sheet Metal Workers Union Local 17.

Don was a Natick resident until 2004 and enjoyed golfing and spending time at the Elks and in Chatham. Don and Pat have spent the last 17 years enjoying retirement life living in The Villages, FL, where he served as a Mallory Hill golf course ambassador. They also traveled the world and took many amazing trips to faraway destinations.
After a long battle with Alzheimer’s, Don passed away peacefully. He was preceded by his parents, siblings Lois (Bettencourt), Philip, and Gail (Blaikie). He is survived by his wife Patricia, son David, daughter-in-law Kim, grandchildren Andrew and Zoe Waldron, and sister Anne Sullivan. Despite suffering from dementia, Don was able to write a note to Patricia, “My name is Don Waldron from Quincy, MA, and I had a great life,” and he did.
