A Summerfield man was arrested Monday night after his lady friend claimed he punched her in the face and knocked out one of her teeth.
The victim said she was in a verbal altercation with 30-year-old Jordan Michael Glassburn when he also head-butted her. She said she told Glassburn that deputies were on the way and he left the area prior to their arrival, a report states.
Two witnesses reported seeing Glassburn punch and head-butt the victim. Deputies noted that her left check was slightly swollen and she was missing a molar on the left side of her mouth, the report says.
Glassburn was later located at a residence on S.E. 100th Court and placed under arrest. He was then transported to the Marion County Jail and charged with felony battery. He was being held on $10,000 bond and is due in court May 25 at 9 a.m., jail records show.
