A Lakeside Landings man was arrested after he was allegedly caught with a stolen pickup truck.
Mitchel Glenn Brown, 59, who lives with his parents at 10050 Regatta Blvd. in the condominium complex in Oxford, was arrested at about 11 a.m. Wednesday at Pizzano’s Pizza in Leesburg.
Witnesses said that Brown had been seen getting out of a white 2013 Ford truck, according to an arrest report from the Lake County Sheriff’s Office. The truck had been reported stolen in Apopka. The owner of the truck showed up and took possession of the truck.
Brown was arrested on a charge of grand theft of a motor vehicle. He was booked at the Lake County Jail and released on his own recognizance.
He has previous arrests for shoplifting, theft, driving while license suspended, possession of cannabis and possession of open container.
