A newly renovated grocery store is making its debut this week in The Villages.
The Winn-Dixie at Pinellas Plaza has new facade signage, an updated produce department and improved deli among other features.
Between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. Friday, June 25, customers who wear their Remember Everyone Deployed (R.E.D.) shirt in the new Winn-Dixie store or purchase the shirt at the store will receive a $5 gift card. All proceeds will go to Col. Phillip C. DeLong Marine Corps League Detachment 1267 who will distribute the funds among 23 local charities.
