Rescheduled benefit for Friends of SoZo Kids set for Aug. 26 at Laurel Manor

A rescheduled benefit for the Friends of SoZo Kids is set for Aug. 26 at Laurel Manor Recreation Center.
The Villages Pops Chorus Folk Quartet will be performing songs made famous by Peter, Paul and Mary, The Kingston Trio, The Brothers Four, and many other performers of those times.
One hundred percent of the proceeds will be donated to Friends of Sozo Kids. The concert had been scheduled for earlier this summer, but had to be postponed due to illness.
The 90-minute concert will begin at 6 p.m., doors will open at 5:15 p.m. Tickets are $10, and you must be a Villages resident or have a Villages Guest Pass to attend. All seats are general admission.
Tickets will be sold at the following locations and times:
• Saturday July 31 from 1-3 p.m., Bridgeport Rec Center
• Saturday Aug. 7 from 1-3 p.m., Bridgeport Rec Center
• Saturday Aug. 14 from 1-3 p.m., Bridgeport Rec Center
• Saturday Aug. 21 from 1-3 p.m., Bridgeport Rec Center
