A Lady Lake man was arrested after making an unwanted appearance at Wawa.
Carlos Carranza Rodriguez, 21, at about 3 p.m. Monday was at the gas station/convenience store at U.S. Hwy. 27/441 and County Road 466 in Lady Lake when a clerk spotted him and called 911, according to an arrest report from the Lady Lake Police Department. The clerk was aware that the native of Mexico had been banned from the premises the previous day.
An officer arrived on the scene and found Rodriguez standing by the front doors of the Wawa. He was arrested on a charge of trespassing and booked at the Lake County Jail. Bond was set at $1,000.
