Evolution Dance ready to celebrate Independence Day weekend with patriotic show

Evolution Dance will celebrate the upcoming Independence Day weekend with a toe-tapping bang.
The dance company will hold its annual “American Pride” show on June 29, at 3 and 7 p.m. and June 30 at 4 p.m. in Savannah Center.
The audience “will enjoy moments of love, tears, joy, and respect as we celebrate our men and women who have protected our freedom,” said Frank Olive, who plays a key role in the program.

Olive has recited “I Am Flag,” originally performed by Robin Williams.
