Darrell Day of the Village of Mallory Square lives in Florida but wanted to do something to help the flood-ravaged victims in Kentucky.
So the owner of Mystic Ice Cream parlor at 1217 W. Miller Road is holding a benefit Sunday at 6 p.m.
“I’m from Eastern Kentucky and I know how hard it’s been for the people there.”
Day, who plays piano, will feature a classical numbers he has composed.
Mystic Ice Cream parlor, is known for its 60s style decorations, including walls of Beatles’ pictures.
