September will kick off in musical style with vintage Motown to go along with some good, old-fashioned nostalgia.
Toni Booker, lead singer of the Dorels, returns with a solo concert on Monday at 4 p.m. in Temple Shalom, 13563 CR-101, Oxford.
Doors will open at 3 p.m. and the music set will feature a heavy dose of Motown, along with R&B and pop standards.
The musical act known as The Lacroix’s will team with the Acting Out Theater Club for what’s called “A Swing and Dance Nostalgia Night.”
The BYOB event takes place Sept. 9, at 6 p.m. in the Seabreeze Recreation Center.
Gary Croix plays keyboards to back wife Janet’s vocals. Their music includes gospel, original, big band, swing and blues.
