This statuesque great blue heron took up his usual post perched atop the gazebo at Wilkerson Creek Park & Children’s Playground in The Villages. He seemed fascinated by a family of mottled ducks swimming upstream on a very sunny afternoon. Thanks to Julie Walfield for sharing!
