Sumter County sheriff’s deputies will collect unwanted medicine at Walmart at Buffalo Ridge Plaza in The Villages.
Operation Medicine Cabinet will give area residents a chance to safely dispose of unwanted or expired medications. The collection will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 22 on the sidewalk by the garden center at the store.
No needles or liquids will be accepted.
