Ohioan weighs in on short-term rentals in The Villages

To the Editor:

I do not live in The Villages, but my brother does. We have looked into it. The Villages are a retirement community and should remain that way. I would be very upset if I bought in the community and an airbnb went in next-door. Homeowners pay a great deal to live in The Villages and should not have their daily life disrupted by short term renters.
