G. Curtis Brooks, 60, of The Villages, FL. Passed away on October 12, 2023. He was born on November 3, 1962 in Andrews, Texas. Curtis was a fun -loving, sarcastic, and independent individual who lived life on his own terms.
Curtis enjoyed spending time outdoors, riding his motorcycle, and fishing. He had a great sense of humor and took pleasure in making people laugh. Although he played the guitar, he rarely showcased his talent. Curtis was also a skilled carpenter and had the ability to fix just about anything. While he may not have been one to speak many words, his love for his family was evident.
Curtis is survived by his mother: Mary Fox; his daughter, Crystal Hardin and her husband Josh Hardin; his son, Donnell Brooks; his brother, Tracy Webb; his grandchildren, Hannah Hardin, Acacia Hardin and Liam Hardin; as well as several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father: Larry Brooks; his step-father, Donnell Fox and his brothers: David Webb and Randall Webb.
A Visitation will be held at 10:00 A.M., followed by a Funeral service at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, October 18, 2023 at the Lady Lake Chapel of Beyers Funeral Home. Curtis will be dearly missed by his loved ones, who will forever cherish the memories they shared with him. May his soul rest in peace.
