It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Karen Morgan, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, who was born on February 28, 1956, in Salem, Ohio, and peacefully left this world on October 13, 2023, at Leesburg Hospital.
Karen was the cherished daughter of Carl Morgan and Jean Morgan and Sister and brother to JoAnn Ward and Paul Morgan, She grew up in a loving and supportive home, thanks to her wonderful parents and siblings. Karen had an incredible zest for life and a contagious smile that could light up any room.
Karen attended Lisbon High School, where she excelled both academically and socially. Her enthusiasm for learning and friendly nature endeared her to her classmates and teachers alike. In 1974, Karen proudly graduated from Lisbon High School, carrying with her
the wisdom and knowledge that would shape her life’s journey.
Following her graduation, Karen embarked on her journey as a loving mother to her two beautiful children, Stephanie Mikell and Jessica Little. Stephanie, married to Joseph Mikell, and Jessica, married to Raymond Little, had the privilege of calling Karen their mother.
Karen’s love and dedication to her children were unwavering, providing them with a nurturing and supportive environment that allowed them to flourish into the remarkable individuals they are today.
Karen’s greatest joy came from being a grandmother. She adored her seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, she spent countless hours creating cherished memories with each of them. Karen’s warm and loving presence was felt by all her grandchildren.
The world lost an extraordinary individual when Karen tragically passed. Her departure has left an indescribable void in the lives of those who knew and loved her. She will be remembered for her infectious laughter, kind heart, and unwavering devotion to her family and friends.
Karen’s memory will forever be treasured by her children, Stephanie Mikell and Jessica Little, grandchildren, and a host of relatives, friends, and all those who were fortunate enough to have known her.As we bid farewell to Karen Morgan, we take solace in the fact that she leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion, and unwavering strength. May her soul rest in eternal peace.
