A Sumter County teen was killed in a crash after losing control of a truck on a wet roadway.
The 18-year-old Webster man was traveling shortly before 9 p.m. Wednesday northbound on U.S. 301, north of State Road 50, in Hernando County, when he lost control of the Ford F-250 truck he was driving on the wet roadway, according to an accident report from the Florida Highway Patrol.
The truck overturned and the teen suffered fatal injuries at the scene of the crash.
