Richard Britt of Cranston, Rhode Island, passed away in Altoona, Florida on February 8, 2025.
He was the son of George and Gertrude Dingee, and the youngest brother of Dorothy Drowne, Barbara Snyder, Marjorie Livingston, Charlotte DeLancey and Robert Dingee.
He lived a robust life, proudly serving his country and retiring from the Armed Forces where he earned many meritorious awards. Richard will be lovingly remembered by his many nieces and nephews who survive him. His love and kindness will also be missed by in-laws, as well as by the many recipients of his aid along his life’s journey.
His ashes were interred at the Florida National Cemetery on Friday, April 11, 2025.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his honor to Operation Stand Down Rhode Island.
