Shirley B. Sudsbury. died April 5th in Oxford Fl., after suffering from dementia for several years. Born August 27, 1945 in Holyoke Ma. the daughter of the late Napoleon and Florida Lupien.
Shirley graduated from Holyoke High School in 1963 and attended the former Holyoke Business School. She worked at Mt. Holyoke College as an administrative assistant for over twenty years. Shirley and her husband moved to Florida in 2001, first to Ormond Beach then to The Villages and to Oxford last year,
Shirley leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband, retired HPD Lt. Daniel Sudsbury.
Her daughter Kara Dayton and her husband Scott, her granddaughters, Morrighan Dayton and Teaghan Dayton of Southbury CT. She leaves behind her sisters, Noella Chalifoux, Sylvia Vachon, Lucy Godek and Terri Kalis, niece Jane Couture and best friend Ellen Keefe and her husband Greg of Florida. and Gary and Roberta Huber, along with many cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents and infant twin daughter Kate in 1965 and sisters Estelle and Doris, brothers Leo, Leonard, Donald , Robert and Philip.
