A 95-year-old Villager died Monday morning after his car left the roadway and crashed into a palm tree.
The man was driving a Buick sedan at 9:17 a.m.on Buena Vista Boulevard, north of the SeaBreeze Recreation Center, when he failed to see a curve, according to an accident report from the Florida Highway Patrol.
The Buick left the roadway and collided first with a fence, then a tree.
The Villager was transported to an area hospital where he later died.
