Millie C. Vibbard passed away peacefully at her home on April 13, 2025. She was born in Syracuse, NY, on September 12, 1927.
Millie married Bruce Lockley Wood in 1946. He passed away in 1970. She married Earl Vibbard in 1972. They moved to The Villages in 1998. They traveled all over the world teaching and managing bridge games aboard cruise lines for more than 20 years. Earl passed away August 25, 2010.
Millie continued to play bridge as a Life Master bridge player, as well as enjoyed water aerobics and other card games until last year.
Millie was preceded in death by her siblings Shirley Mae Harrison and Ellis Mead Carruthers. She leaves behind her daughter Sandra Lee Virginia, Las Vegas, NV, and her sons Richard James Wood and Steven Andrew Wood, The Villages, as well as several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren..
Millie will be buried in Greenlawn Cemetery, Warners, NY, on May.
