A woman parked near the dumpsters at Target at Rolling Acres Plaza was arrested with methamphetamine stashed inside her bra.

A K-9 unit noticed a white Ford F150 parked near the dumpster area behind Target, located at 716 N. U.S. Hwy. 27/441, at around 9:35 p.m. Sunday, according to an arrest report from the Lady Lake Police Department. The officer parked his patrol vehicle before walking up to 37-year-old Alyse Marie Lazaro of Ocala, standing on the passenger side of the truck.

Lazaro advised that she went over one of the speed bumps, and her truck broke down. She opened the driver’s side door and started the truck to show him some warning lights on the dashboard. However, the only lights he saw were the door open light and an airbag light, the report said.

The officer spoke with Lazaro some and tried to help find the problem she was talking about but could not. He asked if there were any drugs or drug paraphernalia in her vehicle, to which she stated no. She voluntarily wrote down her information for the officer, and it ultimately revealed she had a suspended license, the report said.

The officer told Lazaro this and deployed his K-9 to sniff around the outside of the truck. The K-9 positively alerted to the odor of narcotics, leading to a search of the truck. The officer then found a blue straw piece with white powder residue under the passenger side of the bench seat and two used syringes inside a black backpack next to Lazaro’s purse, the report said.

Prior to a search of Lazaro’s person, she handed over a clear plastic bag with clear crystals inside along with a syringe from her bra. A proper search revealed a whitish clear rock substance inside a crumpled dollar bill in her shorts. A field test confirmed both crystals from her bra and shorts were methamphetamine weighing 3.8 grams, the report said.

Lazaro was arrested on charges of possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. She was transported to Lake County Jail and released after posting $3,500 bond.

The New York native was also arrested in February with methamphetamine after a traffic stop in Fruitland Park.
