Ima Pauline Cone, aka Nana, 83, of Bushnell, Florida, formerly of Cleveland, Georgia, passed away on Monday, April 21, 2025.
Born in Haysville, Indiana, on November 13, 1941, she was a daughter of the late Jacob and Leona Eichmiller Fuhrman. Jean was a 1960 graduate of Dubois High School in Dubois, Indiana, where she went on to work as their first school secretary. After the birth of her children, she had an 18-year career with Sears and Roebuck. Following this period, Jean then began working for her husband at Ralph Cone Roofing, Inc.
In 1998, they moved to Cleveland, Georgia, where they carried on their roofing business. During this time, Jean took a job with the White County School System as a parapro. After 10 years, she retired and continued working with her husband in the family business. Following his death in 2014, Jean continued to operate the business until 2017 when her health forced her to “retire.”
She loved her family, who knew her as “Nana” and “Nanny,” and she enjoyed cutting grass, gardening, cooking and baking, reading and doing her church card ministry.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph O. Cone, Sr., whom she married on July 2, 1988; daughter, Michele Beaty; grandson, Dakota Beaty; still born sister; and stepson, Ralph Cone, Jr.
She is survived by her son, Matt Geisler; stepdaughter, Janell Penny; brother, Dalcus Fuhrman; grandchildren, Whitney Law, Courtney Garrett (Tyler), and Shelby Beaty (Vince); step-grandchildren, Danielle Spinks (Shane), and Ashley Weddle (Shane); 17 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the service hour on Saturday at the church prior to the service.
