Suzan K. Register passed away peacefully at her home on April 26, 2025, with her devoted husband, William, by her side. Born on September 10, 1950, in Macon, Georgia, she was a proud graduate of Mount DeSales Academy.
Suzan began her career in 1968 as a switchboard operator with Southern Bell, where she dedicated 34 years of service before retiring. Following her retirement, she pursued her passion for sweets and entrepreneurship by owning and operating Sweet Sue’s Candy Store at the Macon Mall.
A lifelong lover of books, Suzan also enjoyed working on puzzles and Sudoku. She was a devoted Disney enthusiast and found joy in the magic and wonder it brought to her life.
Suzan is survived by her loving husband, her children, grandchildren, and a wide circle of cherished family and friends. She will be especially missed by her beloved dog of 13 years, Twix.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association in her memory.
