An Oxford man was arrested with drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop at 7-Eleven.
Billy Don Marney, 56, was driving a green GMC Envoy at 3:25 p.m. Tuesday when a deputy noticed the vehicle had a cracked windshield and initiated a traffic stop at a 7-Eleven in Bushnell, according to an arrest report from the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office.

A K-9 unit was summoned to the scene and the dog alerted on the vehicle indicating the likely presence of drugs. A search of the vehicle turned up a glass pipe with the residue of methamphetamine.
Marney was arrested on a charge of possession of drug equipment and booked at the Sumter County Detention Center where he was initially held without bond.
